Lorenzo "The Tinter" Narvaez started pioneering advanced
glass tinting techniques at the early age of 15 in his home garage in a time when installation
methods were simple and less evolved. In 1981, he collaborated tinting projects with a tint specialty
shop known to local enthusiasts as Westchester Window Tinting Co. During the next few years,
Lorenzo pushed forward lessons learned as a teenager, and at 21 years of age established his own
vision of auto customizing by securing the location that would change how tinting businesses
would evolve into the year 2000 and beyond.
In the process of working in the glass trades, Lorenzo developed clientele consisting of auto enthusiasts,
car customizers, celebrities, new car dealers and regular guy car lovers like himself.
Lorenzo's unparalleled commitment to offer the best hand cut premium window film
installations has made him one of the most recognized installers in his field.
With years of Auto Show appearances and media references, it's no wonder why he was featured in the
Primetime season finale of Spike TV's "Rides" with Funkmaster Flex this past Summer '04 where he
performed actual custom tinting techniques for the world to see.
In the TV segment, he showed how hand cut tinting can be installed faster than if a computer had
cut the same sections. Craftsmanship cannot be replaced by software. Computer cut film only saves
tint film from the wastebasket. Don't be fooled by the lure of a better install via discs and
plotters. It will never happen as long as we are in the tint business.
